Fancy Pants Republican Says He Spent $5.72 For Two Apples

The reports are in, and President Joe Biden's economy is thriving, making Republicans nervous. After all, what else must they run on to gin up fear with their base? You have to give them one thing -- they're creative. In Alabama Rep. Jerry Carl's case, he said on Fox News that he spent $5.72 for two apples. I'm not sure where Mr. Fancy Pants buys his apples, but I got mine for 89 cents about a month ago with some pork chops on sale. I'm not fancy, though.

"Two apples in DC were $5.72 for those two apples," he insisted. "Now I don't know when the last time Joe Biden has been grocery shopping. but I suggest that he get out of his little penthouse up there and actually go grocery shopping."

"But I suggest that he get out of his little penthouse up there and actually go grocery shopping," he added. "My guess is he hasn't gone grocery shopping in 30-plus years."

I don't think that it's Biden who hasn't been grocery shopping lately.
