Where, operationally and visibility are not significantly disrupted. In addition, the impact of the fire in a toy storage warehouse around the Soekarno-Hatta Airport area, precisely in the Kosambi area, also did not affect the runway and airport terminal. It is known that the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Tangerang Regency, Banten, reported that eight fire engines were deployed to deal with the fire that engulfed five warehouses in the Pantai Indah Dadap Warehouse Area, Kosambi District. The incident was discovered after the BPBD received a report of a fire at around 13:00 WIB. After that, firefighters immediately went to the scene of the incident (TKP) to handle the disaster."The object that burned was a toy warehouse, and there were different objects, such as a place to store chemicals, toys and so on," said Head of the Tangerang Regency BPBD Fire and Rescue Division Agun Guntara.Based on information obtained by BPBD, the suspected cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit originating from a cable in the warehouse. At that time, sparks from a cable on the roof hit several piles of flammable goods so that the fire quickly spread and became bigger."This chemical warehouse is suspected of being the start of the fire, based on witness information that there were sparks from above/electricity, then because the warehouse was full of goods, it spread to goods/plastic, so the smoke was black," he explained. He said that until now the flames that burned five toy and chemical storage warehouses were still being handled by the Fire Department.A total of six Fire Department units from Tangerang Regency and two Fire Department units from Tangerang City were assigned to handle the fire disaster."We have almost 6 units and from the city we dropped 2 units so there are 8 units, and the fire is still big," he said.
