Flight engine cover falls off, plane bound for Houston forced to turn back to Denver

According to a report, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 bound for Houston had to return to Denver International Airport on Sunday. This was due to an incident where an engine cover detached and struck the wing flap of the aircraft. The FAA announced its intention to conduct an investigation into the incident. In recorded air traffic control communications, one of the pilots mentioned that "several passengers and flight attendants heard something loud hit the wing."
