Herschel Walker had a unique message for Republican voters two days before Election Day: don't vote for your nominee.
Walker, a former National Football League star running back, delivered at a Georgia campaign rally Sunday what was almost an endorsement of former President Donald Trump — but not quite.
"It stops on Tuesday," Walker said, "when we vote for my friend and your friend Donald Trump Jr."
Walker immediately corrected himself to support the actual Republican presidential nominee, and not his son, but as the event was airing live on the Right Side Broadcasting Network, immediately proved to be too late.

'Did he just start a write in campaign for Jr. with Trump supporters?" asked Democratic strategist Adam Parkhomenko. "Herschel Walker does not want you to vote for Donald Trump," he later added. "He wants you to vote for Donald Trump’s son."
Political reporter Ben Jacobs argued Trump's decision to be introduced by Walker — even before the gaffe — was a problematic one when it came to supporters of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Sen. Raphael Warnock.
"The voters Trump needs to attract in Georgia are the Warnock-Kemp voters from 2022 who were just appalled by Herschel Walker," Jacobs wrote.
Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign shared the video without comment — but with quotation.
And constitutional law professor Anthony Michael Kreis declared Walker's address to be nearly historic.
"Herschel Walker’s introduction of Trump in Macon might be the funniest thing I’ve seen in a minute," he wrote.
