Gangs in Haiti try to seize control of main airport in newest attack on key government sites

Heavily armed gangs attempted to seize control of Haiti's main international airport, exchanging gunfire with police and soldiers. They overran the two biggest prisons, freeing thousands of inmates. A nighttime curfew has been imposed. The U.S. Embassy urged American citizens to depart Haiti.
