The Israeli war on Gaza entered its 248th day, with a number of Palestinians martyred and others injured, Sunday night and Monday morning, as Israeli bombing continued on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Six Palestinians, including women and children, were martyred after a house was bombed in Gaza City, according to the Palestinian Wafa News Agency.
The Israeli artillery shelling extended to the areas of Tal Al-Hawa and the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, whose beaches were bombed by the occupation navy.
According to "Wafa", the areas of Oreiba, Khirbet Al-Adas, and Al-Hashash, north of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, were subjected to violent artillery shelling and air strikes, leaving a number of martyrs and wounded.
In the central Gaza Strip, the agency reported that occupation aircraft launched air strikes on the city of Deir al-Balah and the Abu al-Ajen area, in conjunction with artillery shelling on the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah.
The occupation army retreated from the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah after its incursion there over the past five days, leaving a number of martyrs and destruction of homes and property of citizens.
Eyewitnesses reported that ambulance crews succeeded in reaching the areas from which the Israeli occupation army retreated and recovered the bodies of Palestinians killed by the army in recent days during its incursion into the area.
They added that the occupation army, before retreating from the area, blew up a group of houses and bulldozed many residential and agricultural areas.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza that has left more than 121,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
Israel continues its war despite a decision by the UN Security Council to stop it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, and to take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” from occurring, and to improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
