GB News Hits Back At Ofcom for “Chilling” Judgements

Ofcom has today ruled that five GB News programmes hosted by Tory MPs broke impartiality rules. Three shows hosted by Esther McVey and Philip Davies and two hosted by Jacob Rees-Mogg have been ruled against because Ofcom thinks the presenters, who are politicians, acted as newsreaders or news interviewers – leading to complex arguments over what constitutes “news”, “comment” or “current affairs”.[…] Read the rest
