The Spiegel newspaper reported that more than a kilogram of gold and a large sum of money and weapons were found in the apartment of Daniela Klett, a former member of the Red Army group, who was arrested at the end of February in Berlin.
The newspaper reported that investigators found "a pistol linked to a 40-year-old robbery and 1.2 kilograms of gold in the apartment of former terrorist Daniela Klett."
They also found 40,000 euros, a Kalashnikov rifle, a grenade launcher, and a jamming device in a secret cache in a closet, according to the same source.
Mobile phones and a number of identity cards were confiscated from the detainee.
Klett, who has been on the run for more than 30 years, was arrested in Berlin at the end of February, and is facing charges of "the 1993 Weiterstadt prison bombing and the 1991 attack on the American embassy in Bonn."
