GoPlus Teams Up With Neo to Deliver Node-Level Security on Neo X Sidechain

GoPlus, a platform focused on user security in the Web3 space, has revealed its partnership with Neo X, an EVM-compatible sidechain, to enhance node security. Neo X has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by becoming the first blockchain to incorporate GoPlus’ Security Module directly at the node level, establishing a robust security framework for all users on its innovative sidechain.

The collaboration with Neo X enables users to effortlessly access an on-chain firewall service. The GoPlus User Security Module (USM) creates a robust security layer on Neo X, seamlessly screening transactions based on users’ tailored security strategies and proactively blocking high-risk ones in real time. This guarantees seamless and secure blockchain interactions for Neo X users while bolstering asset protection.

John Wang, Head of Eco-Growth at Neo, said: “We are proud to be the first blockchain fully integrated with the GoPlus Security Module. Combined with our upcoming anti-MEV feature, Neo X users will experience unprecedented levels of security and fairness on our chain.”

Brian Li, Marketing Lead at GoPlus, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Neo X, marking a significant milestone as they become the first blockchain to support our User Security Module at the node level. This collaboration highlights our mutual commitment to enhancing security within the web3 ecosystem and providing robust protection for all users.”

The GoPlus User Security Module is an intermediary layer, bridging user-initiated transactions on Neo X with GoPlus’s SecWare services. Upon a transaction’s initiation, the USM captures the transaction data and relays it to SecWare. Using GoPlus’s open security data and computing layers, SecWare conducts real-time transaction risk assessments through cutting-edge AI algorithms.

Subsequently, the outcomes of the risk analysis are communicated to the USM, enabling it to implement suitable measures in response to the security recommendations. This could involve proceeding with the transaction if it passes security checks or denying it if it raises any red flags.

GoPlus’ USM establishes a dynamic security framework for the web3 ecosystem. Versatile and engineered for seamless integration with any blockchain, it empowers networks to bolster user safety and deliver enhanced protection against potential threats. The USM acts as the crucial link between users and Neo X’s sidechain, empowering GoPlus to deliver a robust, all-encompassing security solution. Neo X leverages advanced mechanisms to enhance node-level security and detect potential threats, all while upholding the principles of a permissionless and decentralized network.
