Hacks Season 3 of MAX’s critically acclaimed comedy reunites with our favorite duo, while it refuses to rest on its laurels and release. What does this for a potential Season 4?

In the third season, we see that legendary comedian Deborah Vance (played by Jean Smart) is at the apex of her profession – now in her 70s’ she has become more popular and revered than ever thanks to the deeply personal comedy special that she and her writer friend Ava Daniels (played by Hannah Einbinder).

She soon discovers a downside to being so professional – her reputation has grown so absurdly that her content hardly seems to matter anymore. When she makes a surprise appearance at a friend’s show, she finds that the audience at everything done or said by her.

Is there Going to Be Hacks Season 4?

Since the Season 3 of Hacks has only just premiered, it is too early to speculate on whether there could be a Season 4.

Moreover, HBO MAX is most likely waiting for all episodes of the third season so that it can assess and evaluate the overall performance and review the ratings, viewership, and audience interest before deciding on a fourth season renewal.

As such, there is no confirmation of a fourth season, but we could expect to see updates after May 30th, when all episodes of the third season have been released.

The fourth season of Hacks could come out on HBO MAX if it is approved for renewal and release. This is because the first three seasons of the series have all premiered on HBO MAX.

It only makes sense that the fourth one would arrive at the same streaming channel, as HBO MAX is interestingly established as a streaming ‘home of Hacks’.
