On Saturday, Hamas considered that the Israeli occupation army’s announcement of releasing a number of its “prisoners in Gaza” would not change its strategic failure in the Gaza Strip, stressing that it still retains the largest number of detainees.
ent via Telegram, the movement described, “The occupation army committed a horrific massacre against innocent civilians (today) in the Nuseirat camp and the rest of the areas of the Central Governorate, which led to the death and injury of hundreds, as a “brutal escalation of the war of extermination that it is carrying out against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
Earlier Saturday, the occupation army said that it had recovered 4 detainees in a special and “complex” operation in the Nuseirat Palestinian refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The occupation army also claimed that the four detainees were liberated by “Shin Bet fighters and the special police unit from two separate areas in the heart of Nuseirat,” noting that their health condition “is good and they were transferred for medical examinations at Tel Hashomer Hospital,” near Tel Aviv (central).
The Hamas movement stressed that “the occupation’s announcement of the release of a number of its prisoners after more than 8 months of aggression in which it used all military, security and technological means and during which it committed all crimes, including massacres, extermination, siege and starvation, will not change its strategic failure in the Gaza Strip.”
She continued in her statement: “Our valiant resistance still maintains the largest number in its possession, and is able to increase its yield of prisoners, as it did in the recent heroic capture operation that it carried out in Jabalia camp at the end of last month.”
The movement praised the Palestinian resistance members' response to the occupation forces today and clashed with them "valiantly" over the course of hours in the Nuseirat camp and the Central Governorate, inflicting deaths and injuries on its army's ranks.
Regarding what was reported in American and Hebrew media about American participation in “the prisoner rescue operation today,” Hamas considered that it “proves once again the complicit role of the American administration, its full participation in the war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip, the lie of its declared positions on the humanitarian situation, and its keenness to on the lives of civilians."
Hamas called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to put more pressure and escalate the movement denouncing the aggression and genocide in Gaza.
It also called on the international community and the United Nations to take a real stance on these widespread crimes, which shame humanity, and to speak out loud and clear in front of the entire world, and to bring their perpetrators to justice to hold them accountable for their crimes and killing children and civilians in cold blood.
210 Palestinians were martyred and dozens of others were injured, on Saturday, in a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces after a violent artillery and air bombardment that targeted the Nuseirat camp and various areas in the central governorate of the Gaza Strip.
