Scientists at the Institute of Applied Geophysics in Moscow announced the observation of three solar flares on the morning of May 8, one of which was very strong. The scientists indicated that the strongest flare, which was of the M9.8 level, occurred at exactly 04:49, and lasted 44 hours.
