Horror moment Brit tourist’s wife is killed in horror accident on inflatable ride at holiday resort

THE wife of a British tourist has tragically died on an inflatable ride while on holiday with her family.

The mum-of-two reportedly tried the “jumping balloon” activity during a holiday trip to the Philippines with her family in Olango Island in Cebu province, on July 11.

Footage shows the woman, in her 40s, lying at one end of the inflatable jetty on the giant inflatable.

A staff member then lands on the other side – launching her several feet in the air.

But instead of plunging back into the water the woman ended up upside down and out of control before slamming back onto the balloon head-first.

Lifeguards were watching the tragedy unfold and reacted after the woman didn’t start to move in the water after the fatal collision.

Worker Jay Paul Ontong, 21, noticed her motionless in the water as he dragged her back to shore.

The Sun is not naming her to protect her grieving family’s privacy.

The lady was rushed to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center as she fell into a coma until she passed away on July 19.
