THIS is the horror moment a gunman opens fire at passing cars at random and kills a dad-of-four in broad daylight.
The madman had been walking down a street in Los Angeles, California, US when he decided to blast nearby moving vehicles around 6.30am (1.30pm GMT) on Monday morning.

After walking past a car wash, Rodarte stops to unload an entire clip before tossing it behind him.
He then takes off his shirt and kicks off his shoes, with witnesses saying he eventually completely undressed himself.
Victor Hugo Leon, 43, failed to escape the hail of bullets and succumbed to his injuries, according to Riverside County Sheriff.
He had been transported to a local hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead at the scene, the police report adds.
Homicide investigators notified the victim’s next of kin, who was a dad-of-four.
Leon’s wife of 13 years, Griselda Zepeda, told KTLA: “He was a very lovable person.
“He leaves us very broken. He had that mean face, but he was such a sweetheart, always doing his best for his family.”
She recalls fearing the worst when her husband failed to return from his overnight shift at a warehouse in Moreno.
Leon was shot just minutes from his home, before dying in hospital.
“I don’t know what was going through his mind, the last breath he took,” Zepeda said.
“It hurts me so much.”
Leon’s wife has since launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover some of the funeral costs and has already raised more than $40,000 (£31,000).
Another man was also wounded during the shooting and transported to hospital, while several cars were damaged from the gunfire, cops said.
The force also confirmed that Rodarte was arrested and booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility for murder and ten counts of attempted murder.
His motive for the attack remains unclear.
Before the shooting, he had apparently stopped at a local store to try and buy a shot of liquor, according to ABC 7.
However, Rodarte didn’t have enough money and was refused sale.
Moments later he started shooting, police said.
Enrique Tores, who owns E & E Tires, located near the shooting, said he heard about 30 shots ring out as he was working in his shop.
He told ABC 7 how he saw the gunman ditch the magazine and the gun before stripping down.
“He was completely naked, and he just kept walking. And that’s when they called the cops,” Tores said.
