HORROR footage has emerged showing the moment a rampaging knifeman was shot dead as he targeted a cop outside an Israeli shopping mall.

The savage stabbing assault late on Sunday – which police labelled a “terror attack” – left three people seriously wounded.

The shocking new CCTV footage captured the knife-wielding man, who police identified as a 19-year-old Palestinian, sprinting towards a cop.

The policeman, who was attending to the crisis at the Friendly Mall in the southern Israeli city of Gan Yavne, begins running for his life.

The officer then falls to the ground and just as the suspected attacker raises his knife to strike, another cop jumps in and shoots him in the head, killing him.

The knifeman’s limp body immediately falls to the ground and the cop continues to blast bullets into him as the other officer scrambles to safety.

A police statement later identified the pair as a police officer and city municipal enforcement officer who rushed to the scene to help.

A second horrifying video shows the frenzied attacker repeatedly stabbing a man in the weight room of a gym after he tackled him to the floor.

The victim later managed to get away despite his multiple stab wounds.

The Sun has chosen not to publish the disturbing footage.

The suspected 19-year-old attacker is from the town of Dura, outside of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Southern district police commander Amir Cohen said the assailant had entered Israel via a hole in the security barrier that wraps around the West Bank.

Although authorities are said to be probing whether he may have been illegally employed in the mall, reports The Times of Israel.

He allegedly ambushed the three people, stabbing two before wounding the third.

The three victims, two men aged 25 and 20 and a 17-year-old boy, were all rushed to Assuta Hospital with multiple stab wounds.

The 25-year-old was said to be the most critically injured and medics fought to save his life as he travelled to the hospital.

According to Assuta, the two men are both suffering from serious head injuries.

The teenage victim is in moderate condition and was in surgery this morning.

It was the second stabbing assault on Sunday after an off-duty soldier was stabbed and injured at a bus terminal in the city of Be’er-Sheva.

There are fears the attacks are strongly linked to Israel’s ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The almost six month devastating conflict appears to show no signs of an end.

On Tuesday, the right-hand man of Hamas terror chief and October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

Branded the “Shadow Man”, Marwan Issa was number three on the IDF’s most-wanted list following the horrors of Hamas’s bloodbath in southern Israel that saw 1,200 people killed and some 240 taken hostage.

At least 134 captives remain in Gaza, but only 111 of whom are believed to still be alive.

Last week, Israel announced it was considering releasing up to 800 Palestinian prisoners in return for 40 of the hostages.

But Hamas is still refusing to agree to free the captives.

Dozens of Palestinian criminals who could be freed are serving life sentences for terrorist attacks, according to Israeli media outlets.

It follows as the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for the rest of Ramadan.

It led to Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu cancelling a planned visit to Washington by a delegation, accusing the US of withdrawing from “its consistent position”.

The resolution also demanded the immediate, unconditional release of all hostages plus more humanitarian aid.
