THIS is the horrific moment a mum-of-eight is brutally killed after confronting teen thugs who allegedly sold her kids marijuana.

Maria Ramos, 33, was visiting her mum with her kids when drug dealers approached her children and sold two of them weed vapes, reports claim.

Maria and her mother, Blanca Velasco, followed the teens in their blue Toyota sedan to tell them to stop coming to her house after the alleged sale, KTVU says.

Shocking footage shows the suspects stop at an intersection before one teen opens the driver’s side door.

Maria and Blanca, in a grey SUV, stop right next to the vehicle before Maria climbs out the passengers seat in the fatal confrontation.

The teen thugs then start shooting at Maria, with one of them out the car firing multiple shots.

Maria, who struggled with substance abuse in the past, is seen running from the scene to save herself while her mum Blanca speeds off in her car.

The thug with the gun clambers back into their own vehicle before they flee the scene too.

Maria’s grief-stricken mum recounted the horrific shooting and how she thought her daughter was just taking cover.

Speaking to NBC Bay Area, Blanca said: “I just saw her taking off and I just heard the bang.

“And then I pressed on the gas to put my car in front of their car to shield my daughter.

“I saw my daughter going down, but I thought [she] was taking cover.”

Blanca also spoke of the horror moment she looked into the back seat of the Toyota and saw a gun being pointed directly at her, San Francisco Chronicle heard.

The alleged dealers reportedly followed behind Blanca’s car after she took off but eventually lost them in traffic.

She then returned to the scene to get Maria, who she thought had taking cover during the attack – but instead found her fighting for her life.

Initially she didn’t spot Maria but then witnessed a pool of blood – and her daughter laying in it.

Blanca horrifically described the aftermath: “I left my car there, I ran to her. I was holding her in my arms.

“I just saw all the blood coming out and I started rubbing her and I told her, “Breathe. We still need you. You have eight kids that still need you.”

“She just started breathing from her nose and was going slowly, and that’s when police showed up.”

Oakland cops reportedly showed up around 14:30, with Maria sustaining at least one gunshot wound.

They attempted to save her life but she was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Following her horrendous death, officers identified the suspects’ vehicle and were able to bring in three suspects to custody.

Two of the thugs were under-18 and therefore cannot be named, but the third was 19-year-old Isaiah Gomez.

Cops now believe Maria was fatally shot by one of the underage thugs, a 16-year-old who is being held at Alameda County Juvenile Hall.

But police are also looking into whether Maria potentially pepper sprayed the teens before they opened fire.

19-year-old Gomez pleaded not guilty during a hearing on Friday, the Chronicle reports.

He has since been released with an ankle monitor.

Grandmother Blanca has now been left to care for her daughter’s eight children, and said she has struggled to tell the youngest ones that their mother is dead.

Blanca said that she’s told the 15, 13 and 11 year old’s the tragic news – but hasn’t managed to tell the other siblings that “mom is gone.”

Her five-year-old grandaughter even still thinks her mum will return home soon.

She told KPIX: “She says, “I hear mommy is dead, but she’s still coming back from the hospital, right grandma?”

“I would be like, “Yeah,” because I don’t know how to tell her she’s not coming back.”

Blanca believes her daughter prepared her for the challenge of looking after her kids before her death, like giving her tips on saving money on food shops and back-to-school items.

Blanca told the Chronicle: “I feel like she was preparing me for this.

“She was showing me how to take care of so many kids [because] she knew I would be keeping them.”

The grandmother says she plans to move the big family out of Oakland to keep the kids safe.
