In an interview with Charlie Kirk, Eastman was defiant about being disbarred for repeating false information while trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
"Well, the judge, the judge basically said he should be disbarred because he's showed no remorse," he told Kirk. "Well, uh, I don't show remorse and I don't bend my knee too when the government is making false claims that the election was perfect and there's nothing to see here."
"There was a lot to see here and the more people look at it, the more devastatingly bad it looks," he claimed. "And so that's why we're fighting."
Kirk argued the case against Eastman was part of a plot to stop future election challenges.
"They've, they've, they've said it publicly that that's what their goal is and it's working," Eastman agreed. "The lawyers stand in the way of election illegality. It's our duty to try and raise questions about illegality because, look, our Declaration of Independence is founded on the consent of the governed."
"Our whole government, the consent of the governed is manifested by how we conduct our elections," he ranted. "And if they are not conducted legally and fairly, we are no longer giving our consent, and we cease to be citizens in a self-governing Republic, and we become subjects of a tyrannical government."
