A WOMAN has revealed she and her boyfriend moved into a camper van to beat the increasing cost of living.
Ana, 23, from Virginia, said she is “thriving” after choosing a low-cost lifestyle in their tiny little home.

She revealed they chose to live in a van because the rental market was getting crazy – and living a lost-cost lifestyle made much more sense than getting a house.
Ana, who goes by @camperparkprinces on TikTok said in a video: “It just made so much sense to buy this, I mean the payment is literally £293.
“And my boyfriend and I can split that so it’s like $180 a person. So, we are thriving.”
“I absolutely love this lifestyle. Nothing more freeing than it in my opinion.”
The couple regularly show off inside their van and their fabulous adventures online, but in a recent clip, the pair got candid about their lifestyle.
And in a recent video, they showed how they organise their camper to make it the ultimate living space.
Starting the tour with the “living room”, Ana showed the motor had plenty of cabinet space, a table with two booth-style chairs, a small kitchen area more utility stuff.
Although their bathroom was small, Ana insisted they “manage it just fine”.
Showing the bedroom, she revealed it only had space for a double bed.
And above the bed, Ana pointed out some small cabinets which the couple used as closets.
Ana said in the video: “You have to be very strategic when you place your clothes in here, but I have gotten so used to it that it doesn’t bother me.”
Although there is a second bedroom that features two bunk beds, Ana says she uses the room as extra storage, since they rarely have any visitors over.
While Ana and Jake pay significantly less than what they would have paid if they rented out a place in Virginia, there are some extra costs that the pair has to cover.
In addition to the £293, the couple pays an extra £850 for their rental space in an RV resort which includes all utilities and costs to keep their truck parked there.
They also pay £40 for portable WiFi, and some £80 for their motors insurance.
Ana explained that the weather in Virginia is generally hot, so their electricity bills in summer are significantly higher.
However, the bills go low during off-peak season.
Ana said she and her boyfriend are living in peace, knowing they are saving a ton of money – and could sell the camper van anytime they want to.
