In Haifa, Israel’s multicultural city where Jews, Muslims and Christians have peacefully lived side by side for decades, the war has left an uncomfortable mark. Many of the city’s Arab-Israelis say they feel a growing sense of mistrust from Jews, and this year, the annual end-of-the-year activities organised to converge the different cultures were cancelled over security concerns.
