Indian national sentenced to 5 years in prison for selling controlled substance on dark web in US

Banmeet Singh, a 40-year-old Indian national, has been sentenced to five years in prison for selling controlled substances on dark web marketplaces. He was ordered to forfeit approximately USD 150 million. Singh created vendor marketing sites on dark web marketplaces like Silk Road, Alpha Bay, Hansa, and others, selling substances including fentanyl, LSD, ecstasy, Xanax, ketamine, and tramadol.
