Iran denies plot to kill Trump, calls for confidence-building with US

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi denied on Saturday US allegations that Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards ordered the assassination of president-elect Donald Trump and called for confidence-building between Washington and Tehran. Iranian analysts and insiders have said that a Trump presidency may bring a detente between the two hostile countries.
