Iran’s Guardian Council member dismisses letter on alleged ‘successor to Leader’

A senior Iranian cleric and a member of the Guardian Council, that oversees elections and legislation, has dismissed an allegedly confidential letter attributed to him, claiming that the council is tasked with choosing a successor to the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei within months.
