Israel has vowed to kill Haniyeh and other Hamas leaders following the group’s October 7 attack that killed 1,200 people and saw 250 others taken hostage.

No details have been released on how Haniyeh was reportedly killed.

Iranian state television reported on Haniyeh’s death early Wednesday.

Israel hasn’t released a statement on Haniyeh’s death.
