Iran to face Syria at AFC Asian Cup knockout stage

The National Iranian football team has defeated the UAE 2-1 in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Iran has bagged all the possible nine points from its first three games and will play with Syria at the playoffs.
