The occupation is suffering great losses, and Netanyahu is living in illusions

Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Muhammad al-Hindi, stated that the Israeli army is suffering heavy losses in Gaza and Netanyahu is living in illusions, and that any agreement must be concluded with a comprehensive cessation of the war.

Al-Hindi said: “The occupation army is suffering huge losses in Gaza, and Netanyahu is living in illusions, and the resistance factions link any agreement to stopping the aggression and the occupation’s complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.”

He added: "There is no return for the Israeli prisoners unless the aggression stops and the occupation withdraws from Gaza," noting that Netanyahu's statements about creating alternatives in the Gaza Strip "are just dreams, and he has failed to achieve all his goals."

Al-Hindi stressed that "the reality of the field in the Gaza Strip dispels all of Netanyahu's illusions, and the resistance is still causing the enemy losses in lives and equipment."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday evening that the phase of intense fighting in Gaza is about to end, indicating that he is not ready to stop the war before eliminating Hamas.

Speaking about the prisoners and detainees in the Gaza Strip and the return of settlers to their homes in northern Israel, Netanyahu said: “We will return everyone to their homes, residents of the north and south, and I am ready to make a partial deal that will return the kidnapped people to us, but I am not ready to make a deal that will return them and leave Hamas intact.”
