After the truce collapsed, Israel resumed its aerial bombardment and ground offensive in Gaza on March 18th. Since then, some observers have noted that the Israeli military has become less transparent about its operations.
France24 correspondent Noga Tornapolsky says, “We have much less information about what the Israeli army is doing in Gaza, as it has adopted a tactic in recent weekends where they simply issue very laconic statements in Arabic, urging Gazans to move out of the Strip. In the past, the Israeli army regularly released news and statements about their operations, but that’s no longer happening.”
