An Israeli bombing on a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip resulted in one martyr and 5 wounded, while the government media office in the Strip denied American statements and Israeli claims about an increase in aid trucks during this April.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, earlier Wednesday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip since October 7 had risen to “34,568 martyrs and 77,765 injured.”
This came according to the Ministry’s daily statistical report, regarding the number of dead and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for the 208th day.
The ministry said, "The Israeli occupation committed 4 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 33 martyrs and 57 injured were brought to the hospital during the past 24 hours."
She added, "The toll of the Israeli aggression rose to 34,568 martyrs and 77,765 injuries since last October 7."
The ministry continued: "A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."
For its part, the government media office in Gaza denied the "Israeli allegations" and the American statements that announced an increase in the number of aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip to between 300 and 400 trucks per day.
The media office said in a statement today, Wednesday, that the number of aid trucks that entered the Gaza Strip during the month of April reached (4,887) aid trucks, including (1,166) trucks from the Rafah crossing, and (3,721) from the Kerem Shalom crossing.
He explained that only 419 of these trucks entered the northern Gaza Strip.
He said that the above “means that the average daily aid trucks are (163) trucks, which is much less than the needs of our people, especially in northern Gaza, and contradicts the American statements and (Israeli) allegations that talk about increasing aid trucks and introducing 300-400 aid trucks daily.”
He continued that although there was a limited increase in the number of trucks entering daily during the second half of the month, the total number did not change significantly due to the crossings not operating several days during the month for various reasons.
The "government journalist" accused the Israeli occupation of "still maintaining approximately the same pace and seeking to convince the world that the reality of introducing aid has changed."
He called for the permanent opening of all crossings into the Gaza Strip, and facilitating the arrival of aid at least 1,000 trucks per day, to overcome the effects of the food crisis afflicting citizens in the center and south of the Strip, and to end the famine.
Since October 7, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza, which has left more than 112,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid famine and massive destruction, according to Palestinian and UN data.
Israel continues the war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and also despite the International Court of Justice demanding immediate measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
