YOU might have the eyes of a hawk if you can find a rare snow leopard tucked away in the wilderness perhaps ready to pounce.
In the wintry landscape, the leopard is hidden among the rocky formations and it may be harder to spot than you think.
The big cat is perfectly camouflaged in the snowy setting and even the most seasoned puzzlers have been left stumped trying to figure out where it is.
Spotting animals in their natural habitat can be one of the most tough optical illusion challenges.
They are expertly skilled at masking themselves from predators or prey.
Taken by Arkaprava Ghosh, 39, the big cat can also be seen sticking its tongue out at the photographer in one of the snaps.
Capturing the snow leopards is no easy feat, their habitat in Spiti Valley, India, is around 13,000 feet above sea level and requires a team of trackers.
He said: “I have been photographing nature and wildlife for the last fifteen years or so and it was a dream to photograph the elusive Snow Leopards in their natural habitat.
“For a long time, so little was known about these shy and solitary animals, that they took on an almost mythical status.
“Being one of the rarest species of our planet, the Snow Leopards are masters of camouflage and are often called the ‘Grey Ghost’.
“The most challenging part for me was to spot these cats in their habitat.
“The joy and feeling after seeing one in the wild is out of this world.”
The image might come off unassuming at first and it appears that there is nothing but rocky landscape.
But if you look closely, you can see the cunning predator lurking, searching for its next meal.
Optical illusions are created to trick our minds into perceiving things that don’t correspond to physical reality.
