Italy to recruit migrant workers in Lebanon, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia

Italy has agreed to welcome 300 migrant workers from Lebanon, Ivory Coast, and Ethiopia through a special initiative led by the Community of Sant'Egidio, a Catholic charity. These individuals will not be granted refugee status but will be part of a pilot project known as "work corridors." This initiative, approved by the interior ministry, aligns with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's government's stance.
