Newly-revealed deceit by the mother-daughter Kremers, heads of the Women for America First and Jan. 6 rally planners, is despicable enough. But more importantly, it implicates people like Donald Trump, Mark Meadows and some Republican congressmen.

Although the Kremers repeatedly and adamantly told Park Service officials there would be no march to the Capitol, texts reveal they were privately planning one, The New York Times reported. The reporting is based on the Interior Department’s inspector general report on the permitting process for the Jan. 6 rally. It seems that the private texts were obtained by the Jan. 6 committee. “Shown the texts by the inspector general’s office, a National Park Service permit specialist put it this way: ‘So, um, basically she lied to all of us,’ according to the report,” The Times article said.

So how did the Kremers know the march was planned all along and who else was in on the plot? By my reckoning, it’s probably quite a few names of people already in trouble and maybe some who should be.

The top suspects are Donald Trump and Mark Meadows. More from The Times:
