The black book was found on a pavement on New York’s Fifth Avenue by Denise Ondayko, a musician, in the mid-’90s who picked it up by curiosity.

She put the book in storage and it was not until 2020 when she found the book may have links to Esptien.

Forensic experts later examined the book and confirmed it belonged to the disgraced sex offender.

It was eventually brought to the Alexander Historical Auctions in Maryland which described the book as a “fascinating relic of criminal history”.

Bill Panagopulos, owner of Alexander Historical Auctions, told The Times: “This criminal relic undoubtedly still has many stories to tell for those who want to do the digging.

“Jeffrey Epstein was the epitome of evil and this book should be forever kept as evidence of his awful crimes.”

Interestingly, the warped billionaire had a second, more infamous black book from 2004 that was obtained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during a raid of his homes.

Similar to the one being sold now, it held contact details of pals including disgraced Prince Andrew, Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr.

One of the listings reportedly said: “The White House.”

The book was used as evidence during the federal trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend who was found guilty of sex trafficking in 2021.

The older version of the black book, which is currently up for auction, names 349 people – at least 221 of whom were not named in the second one obtained by the Feds.

An investigation of the book carried out by Business Insider in 2021 reported the mentions of several of Epstein’s high-profile connections, including Melania Trump’s best friend Suzanne Ircha (now Suzanne Johnson), ex-Playboy CEO Christie Hefner and billionaire activist Carl Icahn.

The publication said their reporting found no connections between people listed in the address book and Epstein’s crimes.

Epstein is accused of having groomed, assaulted, and trafficked countless women and girls – some as young as 14 – on the island for elite friends of his.

He was arrested in New Jersey on sex trafficking charges in 2019.

Prosecutors said he “intentionally sought out minors, knew that many of his victims were in fact under the age of 18” and that he would pay them to recruit MORE underage girls.

His indictment read: “In this way, Epstein created a vast network of underage victims for him to sexually exploit.”

Court papers said massages would be “performed nude or partially nude” by the girls, before becoming “increasingly sexual in nature”.

He is accused of shuttling the girls between his Manhattan townhouse — thought to be the biggest private residence in the city — and his home in Palm Beach.

He died in a cell awaiting a further trial in August 2019.

In December last year, more than 1,000 pages of bombshell court documents including emails, depositions and legal papers spanning the 2010s were made public by a US judge last week.

The files were part of a 2015 lawsuit filed by Giuffre against Epstein’s madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

Prince Andrew was named twice in the unsealed court documents linking him to the convicted paedophile.

The disgraced royal was previously accused of having sex with underage Virginia Giuffre on Epstein’s “Paedo Island” as well as allegedly knowing about his pal’s sex crimes.

Listings made public about Andrew claims he “has knowledge of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking conduct” – and had “interaction with underage minors, including Giuffre”.

Other documents included claims that Andrew allegedly had an “underage orgy” while staying on the private island.
