A JET2 flight from Alicante to Manchester Airport has reportedly been diverted because of “disruptive passengers”.
Flight LS881 was halfway through its journey when pilots were suddenly forced to divert the aircraft and land in Barcelona.

A Jet2 spokesperson said: “Flight LS881 diverted to Barcelona so that police could offload some disruptive passengers.
“The aircraft continued to its destination after a delay.
“As a family-friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour.”
It is understood that the flight reached Manchester airport some three hours after it was scheduled to land.
The Sun has reached out to Jet2 for comment.
