Joe Biden meets at White House with the families of Americans taken hostage by Hamas

President Biden met with families of Americans held captive by Hamas during the deadly Oct. 7 attack on Israel. Secretary of State Blinken and deputy national security adviser Finer joined the meeting. The president assured the families that efforts to secure the release of their loved ones will continue. National Security Council spokesman Kirby stated that the US is working to gather more information and negotiate a deal for their return. National Security Adviser Sullivan will travel to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu and others.
