Knuckles Trailer Shows Idris Elba‘s Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff miniseries.

The trailer shows Knuckle feeling like a fish out of water after the battle and meant to relax on Earth. However, while he trains Wade, the danger arises when two criminals working for a previous protégé of Dr. Robotnik try to take his power.

Knuckles starts as a rival to Sonic owing to manipulations by the series’ villain, Dr. Robotnik. Still, he later becomes one of Sonic’s closest friends and a loyal protector of the Master Emerald, the mighty gem that controls the magical Chaos Emeralds. His strong sense of responsibility marks his knuckles, sometimes leading him to work alone to meet his duties.

However, his dedication and bravery make him an invaluable friend and partner in the battle against evil. The series follows Knuckles on an exciting, action-packed comedic adventure loaded with catastrophe and self-discovery as he decides to train Wade as his apprentice and teaches him the ways of echidna warriors.

Overall, Knuckles is an authentic sequel to the Sonic universe. Despite its main character’s severe and dour tone, the show retains the broad comedy and family-friendly approach that helped the original films become huge blockbusters. The villains’ tie to Dr. Robotnik may hint that the show’s story will immediately lead into the next movie.
