Korea Blockchain Week 2025 Announces Return as Asia’s Premier Web3 Event in September

According to an official announcement today, Korea Blockchain Week (KBW), an annual Web3 festival held in Seoul, South Korea, will return for its 8th conference in September 2025.

Renowned as Asia’s leading web3 event, the conference aims to unite industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and institutional investors to explore key topics in Web3, gaming, AI, and real-world asset tokenization (RWAs).

The event is scheduled from September 22 to 27, while the main KBW2025: IMPACT conference will run from September 23 to September 24 at the Walkerhill Hotel & Resort in Seoul.

The conference will also include discussions of other topics, such as regulatory developments following the new U.S. administration’s transition and the impact of quantum computing on blockchain security and cryptography.

The event has earned a top spot in the Asian blockchain industry. It hosts a week-long program integrating a comprehensive conference with hackathons, networking forums, art exhibitions, and cultural festivals. Notably, it serves as a bridge between the South Korean market and the global Web3 industry.

The upcoming KBW 2025 is set to build on the success of KBW2024, which attracted over 17,000 attendees, 2,800 companies, 340 speakers, and 330 side events. As such, KBW2025 will set new standards in thought leadership and spark conversations to kickstart new opportunities and collaborations. The 2025 event will maintain this momentum, which has seen KBW welcome over 136,000 attendees, 940 speakers, and 11,500 companies since 2018.

KBW2025 seeks to reinforce Seoul’s role as a global hub for Web3 innovation and investment while focusing on practical applications and global collaboration. Furthermore, KBW 2025 will maintain its tradition of offering networking opportunities, side events, and cultural engagement, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Seonik Jeon, CEO of FACTBLOCK and Founder of KBW, commented on the return of KBW 2025, saying;

“With AI, real-world asset tokenization, and decentralized finance evolving at an unprecedented pace, this year’s conference will set new industry standards in thought leadership and innovation. We also anticipate in-depth discussions on the future of crypto regulation, institutional adoption, and the broader blockchain landscape. KBW2025 will be at the forefront of these conversations, serving as a global hub for the next phase of Web3 development.”
