Le Pen: Ukraine's joining NATO could lead to a nuclear world war

The head of the parliamentary bloc of the National Rally party in France, Marine Le Pen, warned that Ukraine's accession to NATO threatens the outbreak of a global war between the nuclear powers.

Le Pen stressed that by supporting Ukraine's accession to NATO and the European Union, Western countries are seriously destabilizing agricultural policy and security in Europe.

She added: "Ukraine's accession to NATO will in fact lead to a permanent state of war on the borders of the two countries with the risk of escalation into a global conflict with the participation of the nuclear powers, Russia and NATO."

Russia's First Deputy Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, confirmed that a number of irresponsible European politicians want to escalate the Ukrainian conflict and raise it to a new level, as it is no longer an indirect conflict, but rather a direct conflict between Russia and NATO.

Senator from the Russian Republic of Crimea, Sergei Tsikov, stressed that the main goal and mission of NATO is not defense, but rather to weaken Russia and dismember it, but the process of the end of NATO is “inevitable.”
