Malaysia to review migrant labour deals to stamp out exploitation

Malaysia to review bilateral agreements with 15 nations to address exploitative practices and manpower imbalances that have left migrant workers stranded without jobs. Thousands of migrants, mostly from Bangladesh and Nepal, have been left in limbo after being promised jobs in exchange for recruitment fees. Concerns over workplace abuses and unpaid wages have also been raised.
