New Delhi : The Indian Government said on Friday that many Indians have been duped by agents to recruit them into the Russian Army. The government has strongly taken up this matter with the Russian government for the early release of such citizens. Following similar claims by about 12 victim families, the government had admitted last month that some Indians are trapped in the Russia-Ukraine War. Earlier, the government had issued an advisory urging Indians stranded in Russia to stay away from the war.
These families had claimed that their members were promised jobs in Russia by the agents. When he reached there, he was tricked into signing a contract. These contracts were about recruitment in Russia's private army. Now these Indians are being forced to fight the war against Ukraine.

CBI busted the network related to human trafficking.
Meanwhile, the Central Investigation Agency (CBI) has busted the network related to human trafficking. This network used to take Indians to the Russia-Ukraine war zone under the guise of providing jobs abroad. Here they are forced to fight the war on behalf of Russia. The CBI team conducted raids in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Ambala, Chandigarh and Madurai on Thursday. The agency had raided about 10 locations in these 7 cities. Some people have been detained for questioning. Also seized Rs 50 lakh.


CBI investigation revealed that these firms sent 35 Indians to Russia and Ukraine on the pretext of good jobs . There they have been forcibly sent to fight the war against Ukraine. However, the figure of how many of these have been deployed to fight in the war is not yet clear.
