Met Charges Man With Terror Offence After Israeli Embassy Incident

The Met says 33-year-old Abdullah Sabah Albadri has been charged with a terror offence after a man was detained while trying to enter the grounds of the Israeli embassy in London while in possession of an offensive weapon. Counter Terrorism Command chief Dominic Murphy says:

“We remain in close contact with those based at the Embassy of Israel, and we appreciate that these charges will be concerning to them.
