Mexico to put 10,000 troops on US border, Trump tariffs on one-month pause

Mexico will put an extra 10,000 troops on its border with the US in a bid to stymie the flow of illegal drugs travelling north in exchange for a one-month pause on the heavy tariffs the US was set to impose on its southern neighbour, the presidents of both countries said on Monday.
