The United Arab Emirates, Dubai, is set to host the second edition of the much-anticipated Middle East Blockchain Awards (MEBA) to drive the growth of crypto further globally.
While the event focuses on uniting industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries to celebrate achievements in blockchain and cryptocurrency, the event’s return follows the successful conclusion of its inaugural edition in 2022.
Max Palethorpe, Founder and CEO of Hoko Group, the official organizer of MEBA, emphasized the significance of the event, saying,

UAE Hosts MEBA 2025 to Boost Crypto Growth Across MENA
Scheduled for April 29, MEBA 2025 will take place at the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Notably, the event is coming at a time when the adoption of blockchain technology across the MENA region is increasingly on the rise.
Following UAE’s unmatched progressive approach to blockchain technology, the country is seen as one of the leading countries worldwide in digital currency usage. With cities like Dubai establishing themselves as key innovation hubs, the UAE positions itself as a global leader in digital asset adoption.
According to the announcement, MEBA aims to foster innovation, recognize excellence, and set new standards for blockchain and Web 3.0 projects across the region. To ensure the event’s success, the organizers have made notable partnerships and invited reputable judges across the digital landscape.
Some of the judges for MEBA 2025 include Jumana Al Darwish, Award Winning Social Entrepreneur and Founder of Happy Box, and Scott Melker, Host of The Wolf of All Streets Podcast and Crypto TownHall.
They have also invited Mario Nawfal, Host of the Largest Show on X and Founder of International Blockchain Consulting Group; Saqr Ereiqat, Secretary General of Dubai Digital Assets Association and Co-Founder of Crypto Oasis; Jorge Sebastiao, Co-Founder of Global Blockchain Organization and Co-Founder EcoX; and Matthies Mende, Founder and CEO of Bonuz and Co-Founder of Dubai Blockchain Center.
Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of AI for the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and CEO of Dubai Blockchain Centre (DBCC), who had been a part of the inaugural edition, will also return as a judge for MEBA 2025.
