Minister of Communication and Digital: Stronger regulations needed to ensure digital space is safe for children

Jakarta - Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized the need for stronger regulations so that digital space becomes a safe place for children.

He said this in a Scientific Oration at the Open Session of the 75th Anniversary of the University of Indonesia (UI) at the UI Convention Hall, Depok, West Java, Monday, as quoted from a press release received by the Ministry of Communication and Digital.

The Minister of Communication and Digital emphasized that child protection in the digital world cannot only rely on blocking technology.
