Ministry of Communication and Digital Invites Industry Players to Institutions to Discuss AI Regulations

Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Digital invited stakeholders, from industry players to a number of institutions, to discuss the creation of regulations related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

"We are still in the discussion stage with stakeholders. Until early March we will try to discuss. There are six series of discussions with stakeholders," said Nezar at the ANTARA Heritage Center, Jakarta, Monday.

Nezar said that the discussion involved industry players, parties from the health, transportation, education, financial services sectors, and institutions that help create regulations for the use of AI in these sectors.

The results of the discussions, said Nezar, are expected to produce a policy document or policy paper.
