Jakarta - Expert Staff for Communication and Mass Media at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Molly Prabawati, emphasized that in the discussion of the Study on Strengthening Child Protection Regulations in Digital Space with a number of experts and academics, the minimum age limit for children who must be given restrictions in digital space is still being studied.
"So, as in the meeting we held earlier, there has been no decision on what age should be restricted for children to access electronic systems, so not just social media," said Molly to journalists at the Kemkomdigi Office, Jakarta, Thursday.
He also stated that the meeting participants had agreed that children aged 3 years and under were prohibited from being able to access digital. Because for children of that age, it is better to be filled with interaction with their family environment.
