Moldova's Prime Minister, Dorin Rešin, said that the attack with an assault march on a military unit in Transnistria was a provocation, intended to "generate a state of collective anxiety" in the country.
The press service of the Ministry of State Security of the internationally unrecognized Transnistrian-Moldavian Republic reported on Friday that a swooping drone attacked a military unit in the Rybnitsa region, causing minor damage, but no casualties.
Rechan told reporters, commenting on the incident that occurred in Transnistria: We are facing a new routine provocation. We have to monitor the reaction of society, which in turn is aware of reality. “These provocations can no longer cause panic or fear.”
He added that the provocation was intended to “create a state of societal anxiety.”
Earlier, the Ministry of State Security of the Republic of Moldova reported that foreign specialists are working in Moldova to prepare combat groups, including Ukrainians, to carry out terrorist and sabotage attacks against military facilities in Transnistria.
