And despite the driver desperately trying to save the motor with his bare hands – it winds up bobbing around in the water.

Its owner looks on shocked and watches the car hit the boat with its back wheels still on ground level.
He desperately tries to grab the car and stop it from falling fully in.
But the Pedro do Mar begins to be pushed out into the water by the car, causing the car to drop further down the wharf.
Eventually it falls boot first into the water, before sliding off the boat and bobbing around in the sea.
Local newspaper Correo Gallego reported the bungled happened when a tourist in the Spanish area forgot to pull up the handbrake.
Several other saw the car roll forward and hit the Pedra do Mar ship and try to help.
But it was too heavy to stop from falling into the sea between the boat and the wharf.
The vehicle has since been seized and the owner now faces a fine for parking in a place where it was not permitted to do so, El Mundo reported.
Spaniards who saw the clip joked about what the car was doing in the water.
One said: “Diving courses are becoming more and more sophisticated. That’s what I call a perfect self-dive.”
Another wrote: “Is it allowed in Galicia to take away the parking space from boats by pushing?”
While a third posted: “You put that in rice overnight and it works.”
An inexperienced motorist in China had a similar issue with his car just moments after passing a driving test.
The driver was reading text messages from friends congratulating him on passing his exam when he took his eyes off the road.
He then took a wrong turn onto a walking bridge, having to swerve to avoid pedestrians and going straight into icy water.
It comes after a Tesla was pulled from the Danube near Budapest last year.
How the Model X went into the water remains a mystery – but the car sold for £20,000 the very next day.
Pictures of the crew trying to pull the vehicle to the surface were posted on Reddit with users trying to guess how the accident happened.
Pregnant woman rescued from car as it dangles over harbour’s edge
By Ben Perrin
A THREE-month pregnant motorist told how she suffered a suspected fault to an electronic handbrake as her car horrifyingly rolled backwards over a marina wall.
The stricken driver was trapped inside her automatic Volkswagen Golf estate, which ended up wedged between the jetty and a pontoon.
Pictures of the dramatic scene showed her at the wheel of the dark blue-coloured car, which was perilously balanced in an upright position above the 3 metre-deep harbour water.
Firefighters used a winch to hold the vehicle safely in position in Ramsgate, Kent.
Crews freed the victim – aged in her late 20s or early 30s – and she managed to climb up a ladder to safety.
