THIS is the shocking moment a brawl erupted in a beach club in Palma with the perpetrator allegedly calling in his own family for backup.
Footage shows drinkers swinging fists and attempting to smash chairs over staff member’s heads in Majorca’s capital.
The fight appears to start out among a few people before exploding into a brawl[/caption] Stools and chairs are thrown, reportedly resulting in injury[/caption] Onlookers watched on in horror as the fight unfolded[/caption] The man who allegedly began the fight called in his family for backup, it’s claimed[/caption]On Saturday night, it’s understood a fight started between bar staff and a guest after the ‘drunk’ man was initially thrown out of the club.
The thug reportedly launched an attack on random customers and waiting staff before being asked to leave by the owner.
But the perpetrator allegedly proceeded to call in his family, marking the beginning of the seven-minute long fight.
What initially started as a scrap quickly escalated into a wild brawl involving several people.
Dramatic footage shows a topless man and a man in an apron charging at each other as others try and break up the situation.
Someone then grabs a stool before chucking it at the alleged staff member, as other chairs start to rapidly fly.
At this point, other men begin to join in on the brawl, all clutching onto upside-down stools as weapons.
The clip shows others attempting to get involve to diffuse the situation – but all attempts are unsuccessful.
One bystander can be seen fearfully ducking under the table to avoid getting in the flying chair crossfire.
As the fight ramps up, a man appears to have broken a leg off a stool before savagely pelting people with it.
The attackers were allegedly heard screaming to staff that “more than 50 of us are coming and we will kill you all”.
As a result of the scary fight, it’s reported some individuals had to receive hospital treatment – some with large open wounds.
An off-duty Civil Guard officer was on the premises and told local police what had occurred when they arrived.
Three Spanish men aged 48, 42 and 43 were allegedly arrested.
It’s reported some of them allegedly have multiple police records and known criminal histories.
The damage to the property is reportedly substantial, and tourist onlookers have provided statements to the event.
The beach club is a popular tourist spot, situated right along Palma’s coast.
