A SUSPECTED paedophile may face a chemical castration after police officer heard a girl’s screams and heroically saved her from being pushed into his flat.
The girl, 11, is seen on security camera footage as the attacker seeks to manhandle her up the steps of his apartment block.

He separated the girl from the man’s grasp after which she clung onto his hand for safety.
The officer was carrying out his daily patrol when he heard cries for help from the street.
He said: “I noticed a man near the entrance who was forcibly holding a girl [aged 11 or 12] trying to take her to his flat.
“It was clear that the child was trying to escape.
“She was in danger. I snatched her from his grasp.
“The girl was very scared and did not let go of my hand.”
The inspector said he then grabbed the pervert by the clothes and frogmarched him to the police station.
The attacker was found to be intoxicated and is now detained.
If convicted of attempted abduction with intent to commit a sex attack, he could face chemical castration under Kazakhstan’s strict laws.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched under the country’s attempted rape laws.
The officer reunited the girl with her mother and was widely praised by the media in his country.
“I do not regard my action as heroic,” he said.
“Any policeman in my place would have done the same.”
