Curious, Bruno looked over the wall to see what was going on, unaware these would be his final moments alive.

Distressing CCTV footage shows Bruno standing on an outside table to peer over the wall as his partner looks on.

He suddenly goes limp and falls backward off the table, hitting the wall behind him and crashing to the ground.

His shocked partner goes to his aid and calls for help.

Bruno died before the emergency services arrived on the scene.

The shooting incident took place at the couple’s home in Apucarana, in the Brazilian state of Parana.

According to reports, the suspected shooter, neighbour Agnaldo da Silva Oroski, 41, fled the scene in a red car after the shooting on Saturday.

Cops have issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday and he handed himself in at a police station the following day.

He told officers that he thought his home was being invaded when he saw the victim apparently scaling the wall and therefore acted in self-defense.

However, witnesses stated that they heard several gunshots before Bruno went to check what was happening next door.

At the suspect’s home, investigators seized several firearms, including a shotgun, ammunition, and a .380 pistol that is believed to be the weapon that caused Bruno’s death.

He is currently being held in custody as the investigation continues.

It comes after a couple in Brazil were reportedly shot dead by a neighbour who “blamed them for infecting his family with Covid,” police said.

Flanklaber Silva e Silva, 40, and his wife, Marília Silva e Silva, 37, were both killed in Goiás in what was described as an act of vengeance.

The suspect, who has not been identified, is believed to have lost both his father and his brother to the virus that year in 2021.

Brazilian Media reported that he allegedly approached the victims who were working in a large shed before firing 20 shots and fleeing the scene.

He allegedly shot Mr Flanklaber in the head and Marília in the face.

Flanklaber died instantly at the scene, while Marília was rushed to hospital where she too succumbed to her injuries.
