A JAPAN Airlines plane erupted in flames as it landed on the runway of Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Tuesday.

Roughly 400 passengers were on board the plane as it sat on fire but all are reported to have been evacuated.

The images on broadcaster NHK showed the plane with flames apparently coming out of its windows and from beneath the aircraft.
